Hazel Marie Smith married Donald William Smith
6/28/1934 - 11/30/1959
Hazel and Don both worked at Reynolds Springs when they first met.
When first married, they had an apartment in Jackson, MI.
They began to build the home on Oak Point Road around the year 1938.
They also lived in Gunnison Gardens prior to living in Napoleon Michigan
where they built their home on Oak Point Road.

Hazel Marie Smith

Hazel's Mother passed away when Hazel was just 13 years old.
This was a very difficult time for Hazel.
Hazel soon moved to Birmingham Michigan to live with her Aunt Ida.
Hazel worked in peoples homes doing the cooking and housework.
She did not graduate from high school.
